Winging it Ducky Style?

I found this CCC a while back again, when I look for something I go crazy. I mean really like ADD crazy. I seriously collected like 50 of them, which now that I started this blog is perfect. See I wasn't crazy I knew that I had a master plan, well maybe I didn't but I'm think I'll go with that.

Back to the Ducky Cake featured today. Now it's a cute idea to match a cake after the toy. They did a pretty darn good job. I guess it's a funky looking toy to begin with. The bottom is a little square ... LOL now I have Spongebob Square Pants theme in my head. Thought I'd share that so you girls can sing along. We must address those legs, I know there is no easy way to make the legs with cupcakes but way that is really just kind of scary. On a positive note it looks like real frosting :). Hope you enjoy this installment of CCC Wars.

Considering it was done with cupcakes, the legs aren't too bad. Bonus points from me for having "real" icing.

Sometimes I wish I would get calls for children birthday parties...I have many food shots, and had fun shooting 'E's wedding cake...

Okay, aside from the fact that I am now CRAVING cupcakes, I just adore your blog! I had no idea what you could create with a cupcake!

You girls make me laugh! Chef E just wait I think I found another 30 I like of Flickr and mind you I only got 30 pages into the 150 they had.

I know legs aren't too teribble and real icing rocks!

Photonut: I know kids parties are so much fun with all the screaming and sugar ... LOL sorry just posted on my other blog about yesterday with 2 parties and me wanting to cry ... LOL

But yes the cakes can be really cool. I love making sure the kids have something fun and not just a boring sheet cake. I'm just nuts like that :).

Aunt Spicy I think CCC get such a bad wrap that I just had to create a blog that featured them the good, the bad and those in between. I think they are super cool, no matter what :).
